About the company
Swine Data Management is owned and operated by Barbara Jesse, and has been in business in Wheatland, Iowa since 1992. Barbara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meat and Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The company formerly used PigChamp DOS for data processing until several years ago when licensing of that product was discontinued. Swine Data Management now uses Porcitec, a superior software product that allows us to continue to provide the information our clients need and expect. Barbara is also on the development team for Agritec Software, the Spanish company that owns and distributes Porcitec software, so has a direct line from producer needs to programming.
